Rules for Waxing Competition

  1. Contestant must be a licensed professional.
  2. Contestant must follow the rules.
    • All Players should bring their own products. There will be some supplies and wax available at the event.
    • Gloves must be worn during competition
    • Must use professional methods
    • No double-dipping
    • Must work in a no mess or little mess environment
  3. Contestant must bring their own model.
    • Leg hair must have ¼ of an inch hair growth
    • For brow waxing, hair must be 1/8 of an inch of regrowth or fully grown out to show technique and before and after transformation.
      **The longer the hair the better the results will be and the better a judge can see a more noticeable difference, contestant should stay away from light blond hair models.
  4. Contestants must sign a photo release.
  5. Contestant must present a professional attitude and attire; hair tied back, comfortable shoes.

Leg Waxing

  1. Contestant must bring own model
  2. Leg hair must have ¼ of an inch hair growth
  3. Waxing products, Heat, and Accessories will be provided.
  4. 30 minutes competition time.
    Area to wax base of ankle to 2” above knee, front and back of leg.
    • Prepare area and position model. START
    • 30 minutes to cleanse, wax both legs front and back and the use of 2 post-products oil and soothing lotion. STOP
    • Clean and sanitize area (supplies will be provided)

Judging Overview:

  • Only professional methods of waxing
  • Spreading wax on a 90-degree angle.
  • No double dipping
  • Pattern of wax application and removal
  • Technique, Speed and Accuracy.

Brow Waxing

  1. Contestant must bring own model, photo of model required for before and after
  2. Brow hair must have 1/8 of an inch hair growth
  3. Waxing products, Heat, and Accessories will be provided.
  4. 30 minutes competition time.
    Area to wax both brows/top and bottom, and center. .
    • Prepare area and position model. START
    • 30 minutes to cleanse brows, wax both brows, post soothing lotion. STOP
    • Clean and sanitize area (supplies will be provided)

Judging Overview:

  • Only professional methods of waxing
  • Spreading wax on a 90-degree angle.
  • No double dipping
  • Pattern of wax application and removal
  • Technique, Speed and Accuracy.

Brazilian Waxing

Brazilian Waxing Competition:

1. Contestant must bring own model
2. Bikini area hair must have ¼ of an inch hair growth
3. Some waxing products, Heat, and Accessories will be provided by our sponsors.
4. COMPETITION
30 minutes competition time.
Area to wax: Full front only. Top of panty line down and all the way over to the top creases of both legs.
* Prepare area and position model.
START
* 30 minutes to cleanse, full front only brazilian wax service is to be performed full front and butt strip. 
STOP
*Clean and sanitize area (supplies will be provided)
